First Chapter Press is a tiny independent imprint. We publish cozy mysteries set in harbor towns on the Washington coast, and we keep this site for everybody who reads the same kind of book we like to write.
It's run by Claire Willowbrook, author of the Twisted Leaf and Foxglove Nursery mysteries. The reading lists are books we'd recommend to a friend. Our own books are always marked as ours.
First Chapter Press is a small independent imprint, and some of the books on this site are ours (they're marked). As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Links to Amazon on this site may earn us a small commission at no extra cost to you. Sponsored features in the weekly letter are labeled as sponsored. Being paid never decides what goes on a reading list.
